I implemented the above mentioned technique to create a dashboard prompt with list of report names. However, I have used 3 reports in the list and soon as I go to the dashboard page with this prompt, SQL for all the reports on this page gets generated on the backend. Even when I select one of the reports from the drop down list, I see many other SQL still running on the backend. Since our report list is long, this puts a lot of load on the database. Is there a way to stop the queries from being generated and wait for the user’s response? I would appreciate your reply.Kavinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7751447442026377325.post-2361108018975409202013-02-08T06:16:13.997+01:002013-02-08T06:16:13.997+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.ArunKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02987809125973425539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7751447442026377325.post-33305409996404249232013-02-07T10:43:31.707+01:002013-02-07T10:43:31.707+01:00John,

I want to call a session variable value from within a JavaScript function in the Common.js file. The reason for this, is I want the user to be redirected to another site, and the group session value to be passed but not visible in the html or button/link properties. (It will link to a php which will redirect based on the value in the URL).. I cannot get the javascript syntax right to take the 'nqsession.group' value. Is it possible?<br /><br />Many thanks (anyone!)<br /><br />Niamh, DublinNiamhnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7751447442026377325.post-85082627015847227692012-12-13T16:34:27.731+01:002012-12-13T16:34:27.731+01:00John, excelent blog.
